Dandy’s Ultragrip® Rock Salt is a blend of powdery salt and tiny horticultural grit perfect for clearing roads, paths and driveways of snow and ice and for providing longer lasting traction in freezing weather.

This alternative rock salt is perfect for the home user as it is cheaper and provides longer lasting traction due to the grit mixed throughout – in short it looks and acts exactly the same as traditional rock salt; the only major differences are that it is better if spread by hand and once everything has melted a fine layer of grit will remain which can be brushed up and mixed into beds and borders to improve soil drainage (make sure all the salt has melted away properly first).

Ultragrip® isn’t ideal for use in a spreader but it will certainly clear ice and snow and it provides longer lasting traction that standard or traditional rock salt or road grit.

Each small bag contains either approximately 25kg or 10kg depending on the package type you choose.
Each bulk bag contains approximately 900kg.
