Our play grade bark is the perfect choice for finishing off the children’s new play area.
Pop it down underneath swings and slides at the relevant depth and it will cushion any tumbles the little ones might take.
This product meets the British Standard EN1177 for use a cushion material.
This is also a perfect product for finishing off beds and borders, both as a decorative bark covering material and a natural weed suppressant.
This is a free draining, yet moisture retaining product perfect for use around plants and flowers.
Each small bag contains approximately 50 litres.
Each bulk bag contains approximately 1000 litres.
1000ltr of bark, woodchip or mulch will cover approximately 20m² at a depth of 50mm.

I was looking for play bark for our garden for the trampoline we bought for our children's birthdays. Dandy's had good value large quantities of play bark - just what we were looking for. There was excellent information about what quantities were needed and calculators to work things out. For example I didn't know what depth to order and there was a recommendation listed on their website. What I really liked was the option to purchase half-price anti-weed membrane which appeared when I selected the play bark. Excellent idea, as this was just what I needed and saved me shopping around for it too! The delivery arrived promptly on the day - the delivery man was so friendly and helpful and even took the pallet of play bark down our very steep drive just where I needed it.
Unfortunately the anti-weed membrane did not turn up with the play-bark but a quick and very helpful phone call to Dandy's and the play bark was dispatched for delivery the following day.
The play bark is good quality and looks very smart in our new play area. Would definitely recommend Dandy's and I will be using them again for future garden projects.

I ordered these last year and was very pleased with them. Then when they were doing a weekend promotion I ordered some more. They were delivered promptly and with a very helpful driver who hauled them on to the gravel pull-in so they wouldn't be in the way of cars coming and going in the drive ! I'm afraid they are still sitting there as it has been raining so much, but hope we can spread them this week.
