Dandy's Launch Trade Only Website - With Huge Discounts On Delivery & Stock!
Dandy’s new look website, www.DandysGardenCentre.co.uk, was launched in the late summer of 2011.
After huge success in the e-commerce market, Dandy’s have decided to emulate the sites success by turning their hand to a brand new trade version of the site aimed at landscapers, qualified gardeners, house-builders and other trade professionals.
This is a brand new concept for the topsoil and landscape supplies industry and the website will be the first of its kind in the UK; marking Dandy’s out as market leaders yet again.
The company hopes that the website will help its trade customer base make the move to online ordering where they will be able to easily book delivery slots and take advantage of exclusive trade rates for collections and deliveries of Dandy’s goods in bulk loose loads, one tonne bulk bags or small 25kg bags.
The website will designed to offer landscapers and builders in the North West and North Wales a unique, simple and personal ordering system which has been tailored specifically to the needs of those in the trade.
The website will give technical information about products and advice on quantities as well as recommendations for certain jobs from Dandy’s team of experts.
The new site will be password protected and will allow users to pay up front with a credit or debit card, Paypal or make use of their credit accounts with Dandy’s. To help assist with accounts, trade users will also be able to print out quotes, invoices, delivery notes and VAT receipts.
Dandy’s Sales Manager, Simon Hughes, commented; “This website will be a first for the landscaping supplies industry and it is one which we are extremely proud to be launching. We are convinced that this site will help us to exceed the needs of the modern landscaper, green-keeper and builder.
Our trade customers will now be able to place their orders online 24/7 and will be able to take advantage of fantastic, exclusive rates.
We realise that in the past we have had a major weakness in the form of our e-commerce sites not fully meeting the needs of the local trade; this is something which we intend to put right!
Over the coming weeks the site will be launched and we’ll be sending out user account details to all of our existing trade customers.”
The trade website represents a small part of the significant improvements being made at Dandy’s over the next twelve months.
The site will be backed up by a new, dedicated trade response team who can be contacting at Dandy’s trade team offices on 01244 280008, option 1.
As part of further improvements to services for the trade, Dandy’s will now endeavour to alert customers of deliveries approximately twenty minutes before they are due, as well as permitting advanced booking times; allowing busy trades-people to maximise their time on other jobs instead of wasting valuable time waiting around for delivery drivers.
The Dandy’s trade team will be made up of Sales Manager, Simon Hughes; General Manager, Jonathan Bellamy and new Trade Support Advisor, Emma Corry.
