Clover brand John Innes enriched Multi Purpose Compost is ideal for any planting project. Whether you are filling window boxes or hanging baskets or simply mixing into existing soil this is a great high quality compost and is a brilliant all rounder.
Also contains a Nutricult slow release fertiliser for added nutrients and to encourage root growth.

John Innes Compost is at base a loamy compost blended with peat, sand and fertiliser.
The loam provides a base for the various blends available and supplies micro elements and organic matter, providing slowly released nutrients. John Innes compost contains only the highest quality Sphagnum Moss Peat which increases porosity, improving aeration and natural water retaining properties. Peat will slowly decompose into nutritious, organically packed humus that all plants will love.
The compost is also blended with coarse sand or grit depending on the type which allows excess water to drain through the compost, preventing water logging.
John Innes composts also contain the relevant fertilisers to improve the growing properties specific to that type of compost.
