Final North Wales Truck Stop Designs Get A Green Light
Dandy’s (Chester) Ltd, based at Deeside Industrial Park, on Fourth Ave, Zone Two in Flintshire, North Wales, have today given the green light for the new building designs for their new North Wales Truck Stop which will hopefully be built on the same site later this year.
Planning permission pending, the project in general has been given the green light by Flintshire Planners, however the company is now awaiting approval for the redesigned and larger facilities, shown here.
The two storey, detached building will be built of brick and slate, with an attractive finish.

Secure Parking For 70 Trucks
The truck stop will provide overnight, safe, secure parking for up to 70 heavy goods vehicles at a time and will offer free parking for up to two hours throughout the day to allow busy truck drivers in North Wales using the A55, M56, M53 and A550 to take their statutory rest breaks in comfort.
The truck stop will have a café restaurant serving a selection of hot and cold home cooked meals, shower and restroom facilities and a lounge style rest area for drivers to relax in peace.
There are also plans to include a gaming and television room, wi-fi access and other means of entertainment for those using the facility.

Dandy’s aim is to build the best truck stop in the UK with a state of the art truck stop which will provide a much needed service to drivers visiting the North Wales area.
An agreement with local officials has been made regarding road signage and roundabout sponsorship in the area to direct the truckers straight to the new facility.
The Truck Stop represents a non-seasonal solution to their current business model which is the supply of topsoil and rock salt is currently is dependent on the weather.
