How much do i need??

We're currently working out all of the code and maths for a proper soil and gravel calculator - in the meantime here's some info to help you work out how much you need yourself - or you can give one of our team a bell on 0845 456 3089 and they'll whip out a calculator and do it for you!

How much top soil do I need...?

Feet = length in feet x width in feet x depth in inches, divide by 12, divide again by 27 = tonnes of topsoil required for your project.
Metres = length in metres x width in metres x 1.2 then x depth in inches, divide by 36 = tonnes of soil required for your project!

How much gravel do I need...?

Feet = length in feet x width in feet, divide by 9, divide again by 1.2, then X 0.04 = tonnes required for every inch of gravel you would like.
Metres = length in metres x width in metres x 0.04 = tonnes required for every inch of gravel you would like.

How much crusherrun do I need...?

Do one of the gravel calculations above and then multiply the result by 1.572 = tonnes of crusherrun you need for every inch depth you would like!

How much bark do I need...?

Metres = length x width x 0.05 = cubic metres required for a depth of around 5cm (2 inches).
