The difference here at Dandy's Topsoil is that we make soil mixes to suit your needs, take Lawnmix® Topsoil for example, Lawnmix® Topsoil is sourced from greenfield sites which have been chemically analysed to check nutrient values and also for possible contaminents, these tests must meet BS3882:2007 and BTSA Standards. If approved the soil is brought to our processing facility where it is left fallow for up to 10 years. This has numerous benefits but the main benefit is that the soil is very fertile and has not had its nutrient value reduced by any recent growing activity.

Here at Dandy's Topsoil we've been producing only the highest grade of 'designer topsoils' for over 30 years. Dandy's Lawnmix® Topsoil is our No.1 and has been designed specifically with you in mind and was first produced 22 years ago by my father James Dandy.

When ready the soil is screened and pulverised down to 5mm, this is done to produce a much finer soil than available elsewhere on the market, this is done so that your lawn can be laid perfectly level.
The soil is then ready for turfing and seeding on.

All of our soil is obtained from greenfield sites and as award winning suppliers of quality topsoil and landscape supplies on a nationwide scale, we ensure that all of our products meet the highest standards possible, so that you can be sure you are giving your gardening and landscaping projects the best start possible when you purchase from us.

Each tonne or bulk bag will cover approximately 15m² at an overall depth of 5cm.
