Britain's leading Top Soil supplier, Dandy's Topsoil places order for a brand new Hyundai 770-7A wheeled loader in order to increase top soil production levels by 25%.
The giant Hyundai 770-7A is seen as the company's answer to increase output which comes on the back of the best years trading the long established family business has ever seen. Dandy's Site Manager Colin Dowle said, "Over the past three years especially, we have witnessed year on year increases in demand for our high quality top soils. Research done by The British Topsoil Suppliers Association (BTSA) shows that buyers of soils are now all too aware of the pit falls and the substantial additional costs which are often incurred when choosing poor quality waste soils over high quality soil from professional topsoil producers. At Dandy's Top Soil it would be fair to say that some business was lost when skip companies and the like began selling waste skip fines as “topsoil” We believe this was done as a way to avoid the governments increased landfill taxes and as a way to gain extra income from a waste product. However, the biggest rise in demand for our high quality top soil mixes over the last couple of years has been from these very same buyers who purchased cheap skip waste fines but had then been stung with all sorts of ludicrous costs and time wasting activities such as having to hand pick glass out of the “soil” right through to having to pay to send the waste fines to landfill themselves - doubling the original cost leaving the buyer out of pocket and completely soil-less! We only sell the best natural, organic rich soils at Dandy's Top Soil and the purchase of a brand new Hyundai 770 wheeled loader will help us to meet our customers increasing demands. The Hyundai 770-7A will lift around 8 tonnes of top soil in each bucket, which is 25% more than our previous JCB 456 wheeled loader could manage. This means that we are able to load our customer's vehicles and our own vehicles much quicker than ever before, speeding up production and delivery times. It also means that we are able to load our screening and packaging machines much faster which in turn creates a much needed increase in output".
The Hyundai 770-7A wheeled loader (pictured left) is Hyundai's next generation wheel loader. It benefits from a higher power output than previous models, lower fuel consumption, more comfort and lower emissions; all of which will help bring Dandy's Topsoil closer to their target of becoming carbon neutral by 2013.
