Our Blue Crushed Slate 20mm is perfect for use on driveways, paths or in borders.

Ideal for tidying up dreary areas this slate is a naturally blue-grey colour and offers a pleasant alternative to the traditional decorative aggregates.

This aggregate is graded to approximately 20mm across piano wires reducing the risk of scattering and sticking to tyre treads – although it is set to a 20mm grade as the slate is thin you may find that on some sides it will exceed 20mm as it will turn when travelling across the wires.

As slate is blasted from a mine you should expect to find some pieces of plum and green running throughout and no regular shapes, sizes or shades..

As an added bonus, as Crushed Slate is very thin it will lie flatter than a normal aggregate giving a more even finish, meaning it will be much easier to walk on and will not crunch as much underfoot.
