Our Green Crushed Slate 40mm is perfect for use in borders, plant pots or in water features.

Ideal for brightening up drab areas this slate is a naturally green colour and offers a pleasant alternative to the traditional decorative aggregates or barks.

This aggregate is graded to approximately 40mm across piano wires, resulting in a much chunkier finish – this does mean that, whilst it will give a lovely decorative finish, it is not recommended for areas which will be walked or driven on.

Although the grader is set to a 40mm grade, you may find that on some sides it will exceed 40mm as it will turn when travelling across the wires.

As slate is blasted from a mine you should expect to find some pieces of blue and plum running throughout and no regular shapes, sizes or shades.
