Grit Sand

Our Grit Sand is screened to 10mm and is perfect for brushing finely beneath flag stones, after laying a fabric membrane down to prevent weed growth.

10mm Grit Sand is also suitable for use in very waterlogged areas if you are concerned that a more traditional Topdressing or very fine Asphalt Sand would be too light.

This sand is used in our Sand and Gravel Mix as a base for mixing cement.

Don't forget to order your fabric membrane to lay beneath the sand if you are laying flags to eliminate hours of back breaking weeding for good.

Each tonne or one bulk bag will cover approx 15m² at a depth of 5cm.
